Frodus is an often overlooked band it seems. But the people who like them are well versed in the stylings they drew from. Blistering post-hardcore that reminds me of a Mike Kirsch project or what the later Rites of Spring stuff would sound like. They also knew how to get technical on it and really dial in a groove through time changes. Their drummer was siiiiiiiiick. I never really knew if they were a christian band or not, since they did that record on tooth and nail. I think it’s cool that they’re doing some stuff here and there again too.
