I ran sound for Confide once. Their drummer was a really sweet dude and was super friendly and helpful with their set up (laptops and drum triggers) since we weren’t usually ready for that stuff. Their singer had to fly home so their roadie was doing vocals and I thought it sounded better than the stuff on the record? I don’t really dig the current trend of skinny jeans / v-neck / toms shoe metalcore (is crabcore still cool?) but a lot of kids like it. I see them wearing the 9 color screenprinted shirts and I weep for the person who had to do all the lining up of that stuff.
Also, they cover the Postal Service and it tears me.
